The application for the waiver of transcript fees filed on 6th February 2024 is granted. Reason: Pursuant to the last Chamber Hearing order dated 25th June 2024, the Court convened an oral hearing to allow the applicant the opportunity to indicate his position with respect to his application for a waiver of transcript fees. The applicant being duly sworn in, provided oral evidence to the Court that he has been imprisoned for the past 10 years, and he is unable to source funds from family members. The Court was satisfied that the applicant did not possess the financial means to purchase the transcript of proceedings, and there was no objection to the application from the respondent. Accordingly, the application for a waiver of transcript fees was granted.
